The Spirit of the Diaspora Extravaganza:
Next Generation Award
At ADC we believe that the Next Generation is made up of leaders that are working to empower the African Diaspora. On March 29th, our first ever "Next Generation Award" was given to someone who embodied the mission of ADC: to educate, empower and engage the community in order to affect positive change in perception of people of African Descent.
The nominees exemplified these characteristics through their work within the African Diaspora Community and/or Africa and will have demonstrated a spirit of leadership that involves volunteer work, public outreach, social activism and education while building bridges of understanding between people of African descent.
Congratulations to Pape Samb – winner of the Spirit of the Diaspora Next Generation Award.
